For the past 2 months I've been getting this fluctuation when connecting to my internet through wireless. I'm on a 100mb download speed NBN plan with TPG, I'm using a Asus RT-AC5300, and my pc is using a ASUS PCE-AC88 AC3100 PCIe Wireless Adapter. When scanning my neighbour hood's wifi I found out that my neighbour installed a new router and two extensions, is this the reason why I'm getting this fluctuation : http://imgur.com/a/QWbiq ? My computer is located roughly around 8 meters from the router and the walls between them aren't brick. I contacted my ISP regarding this and we troubleshooted the issue for an hour testing every thing we could ( Router straight to PC through cable, NBN box straight to PC ) and they all gave perfect results with a constant 92-97mb speed and no fluctuation, so the issue isn't from my ISP and the only issue is the wireless. If you know how I could possibly fix this please let me know, I've been unable to play any online games due to this fluctuation affecting my ping. I'm also using the 5ghz band while the other devices in the house eg. phones are using the 2.4ghz. Thank you.

have you tried changing wireless channels?

I don't know man , It's 1:45am in Sydney and i'm the only one connected to the wifi, my neighbours are also asleep and I'm still getting the fluctuation drop.
