Well, you shouldn't be using WPS anyway. At all, ever. For anything.
It is not even a speed bump in terms of security.

If you're not allowed to have a wireless router, hiding the SSID is no workaround for that.

Bottom line, why are you wanting to connect a wireless camera to a router and network you don't control?
