Wireless mice stop working

Hello, my mouse stops working almost all the time, the battery is new and it still doesn't work sometimes. It works atm but maybe in 10 min it will stop working, it's different because sometimes it stops working after 5 sec and sometimes after 30 min... It's really annoying, i've tried to change USB port but it made no difference. The drivers are up to date so there's nothing to install either. :/

I think this mouse has USB 2.0 and my comp has 3.0 but i'm not sure though, could that be the problem?

Also, it stopped working yesterday and before that I had used it for a long time with no problems and suddenly it stopped..

Btw, I have Windows 8.1

USB is forwards and backwards compatible. The device and host will negotiate the greatest commonly supported link speed. May be check with the device it might have connection issue which may help you to rectify.
