Wireless mice the problem or my laptop?

This is my third wireless mouse that gave out on me in a very short amount of time.

My first mouse lasted a year and then it would annoyingly double click most of the time when I only single clicked.

The second mouse I bought lasted about 2 weeks and then all of a sudden it would start twitching uncontrollably. I wouldn't even be touching it and the cursor would fly across the screen.

The third mouse I bought lasted 4 days now and this time I would move the mouse and it would stall for about 8 seconds and not move. Now today I can't even get it to power on.


This has to either be really bad luck or it is something with my laptop. Should I even bother buying a new one?

Though I appreciate the benefits of no wires, in my view the last thing you want to do is to take a vital device like a keyboard or mouse and add the unreliability of wireless.
