Wireless mouse with gamepad

Hi ,
I have a Logitech gamepad of witch i lost the dongle( Nano Receiver ), and I currently need a new mouse.

If I would buy a wireless mouse, would I be able to use it's dongle to cconnect the gamepad?

No, because the IR reciver acts as ID to the joystick and only registered to the specific one, unless you find on ebay replacement for your joystick (frequency, and that stuff).
Or going heavy diy and capturing signal and etc.

Unless someone proves me wrong here :3 which could happen , just wait for other answers.
