Wireless n upgrade on hp dv2000 laptop

Hello,
I have a hp dv2000 with g standard wireless card. It has 2 aerial wires, can i just slip a wireless n card in (with 3 aerial conectors) and connect the 2 aerial wires?
any help appreciated

I would speak to HP before spending any money because they have a reputation for blocking non-HP branded accessories -- in one case a user claimed that an otherwise identical adapter would not work in place of the HP version.
