Wireless network cards from dvr to internet

Hi, please can someone help me. I have bought a 4 camera CCTV security system with dvr, I have talk talk wireless internet in the house but don't know how to get live stream from the dvr to the laptop or my phone, do I need to buy a wireless network card? Or 3G wireless network adapter card? As it says that the dvr supports these things but I don't even know what they are? ( yes I am a woman ) haha and not very clued up on these things but I would greatly appreciate some advice in what to do or what to buy to get my CCTV up and running, please help. These would allow you to plug the DVR effectively straight in to the router so you wont have to worry about setting up the wireless security, compatability of wireless adaptors and the out of range issues.

I do quite a lot of these and they work just fine.
