Hey, Im just wondering the difference between a wireless card and network card. I want to put it in my new build and by able to access the internet without plugging in.

A wireless card is a card that you plug in any pci or pci-e port in your computer to access the internet with no wire.

A network card is a card that you plug in any pci or pci-e port in your computer to access the internet with a wire.

yeah almost every motherboard will have a wired lan port already some higher end motherboards will have a wireless one built in but its not very common. if you want to get a decent wireless adapter get a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124428. if you go with a wired connection than use your on board network lan port. Also wired is your faster option if you decide to go that way.
