Wireless PCI card fit next to GFX card?

Hi Guys

Acquired a PC off eBay, with a VTX Radeon 7770 card (didn't know it was VTX beforehand sadly).
I don't have an Ethernet port nearby so wanted to get a wireless card. I bought the Tenda 300N (picture below) but haven't opened the box yet.

See PC case below. Available PCI slot for wireless card is right near the fan intake for the gfx card. It will fit in the slot I think as all the flat side faces the gfx card, but I'm not sure if its sensible to have it this close to the fan intake.
Though of course the wireless card is not full height. Is this going to be ok?

If not, what should I go for… USB? I read elsewhere online that USB wireless is not as good as PCI, and might lag for gaming etc (even though you can still get 300MBPS supposedly). It's only 10 metres and 2 drywall partitions away from the router. Or should I buy some powerlink option (Ethernet over mains electricity) - I could do without the extra expense though of course. thanks

You'll be absolutely fine dude, hell, powerful cards have no problem running RIGHT next to each other. The wireless card is fairly "thin" as well, so won't actually cover up much space from the GPU fan.

If Titans can run like this, this close, your card can.

Wow that's bonkers! Thanks for posting, I guess I don't need to worry then :)
