Hi. I've got a NetGear N600 (WNDR3700v3) wireless router and an HP Pro 8600 wireless printer. I just got a Linksys N900 wireless adapter for my Win7 desktop PC. The PC connected immediately to the network, and the printer shows that it is connected to the network, but it won't print wirelessly through the network. Am I missing something?

Thanks

if the printer was connected to a usb port cable first then you connected to your wifi router. it could be two issues. the first your pc is sending the print jobs to the usb serial port usb0001. not to the wifi printer driver. the easy fix is uninstall the hp software and download the newest software from hp and click on the wifi setup. if the printer is connected right to the router the hp setup software will see it. on the printer the wifi port may be on and you set the ssid and password up right. but in the printer set up under network is wifi set first?? some let you turn both wifi and usb on.
