OK I'm stumped
I seem to be getting random wireless strength and throughput drops and I just can't figure out where they are coming from.

I'm running windows 7
Using a USB wireless adapter Linksys AE2500
The router is a AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Route
The router is located only about 30ft from the computer through two walls

80% of the time the 5ghz band is at full bars and has an average link speed of 250mbps and the 2.4 is about 78 with full bars, but on occasion and sometimes for hours at a time there will be fluctuations on both bands the can drop the link speed to sub 10mbps and even disconnect the network for several seconds.

Sounds like interference right? Well the 2.4 band is pretty crowded with other wifi but the 5 is completely clean and during the outages, according to the wifi analyzer on my phone, there is still no competing network on the 5 band. There is also no household activity that seem to be related. Nobody is showering or using the microwave or garage door.

Anybody have an idea on how I can improve the signal or what might be causing these outages?

No the wired clients show no change in connectivity.
