Hello there, i plan to network two computers in my household, both run win
xp pro. One will be in the house, and the other one will me in the garage,
about 30 metres away,
I would like to use the network to play games across, but primarily to share
the internet (cable modem)

im unsure which brand i should go with, and whether this whole setup is
possible,
USRobotics have a 108mbs turbo equipment but im not sure whether this is
really sustainable or marketing hype,
linksys, and buffalo i have also looked into, but as this is my first
network, its difficult to know which brand is better(ease of use,
speed..etc).

Thanks for your time
Figurt

11 54 and 108 Mbps are in referance to speed, a b g are also different types, most people run B so get that or g as they are compatiable together, for what you described I would save my money and get a 11Mbps b FYI b= 80211.b if the price is simular get the 54 Mbps b... you can't really go wrong with any one but anything that is compatiable with 11 and B is good as they are standard around the world
