Wireless router downstairs. desktop upstairs

well i have a wireless router downstairs and my computer is upstairs. I want to get the best adapter/antenna/etc to get the best connection from my wireless router. I have bought a wireless adapter but it doesn't give me a lot of range. I was wondering if you guys know about a product that can give me some great range in my house.

I have four of these. Use at office and home. Works with Vista 64. Newegg often offers FS and lower price. Tiger Direct carrys the DL-2320 also.
