Wireless USB Adapter OR a PCi Card

I've gone through two usb adapters in the past 4 years. The first was a netgear and the second was a linksys. Now I'm looking for a third and I was wondering would the Card be better? or would it be better to go with the usb version. I can't really find a solid answer anywhere so I'm coming here. I do play online shooters a lot so keep that mind. I've had my download speeds reach 3.0 mb/s so I'd like to stay in that ball park if anyone gives any suggestions. I know a fair amount about computers but when it comes to networking I don't know crap.

I've found that N wireless adapters perform comparably whether USB or PCIe if you account for antenna differences. I use a lot of THESE and have found them very good performers if you only need 2.4GHz. THIS is my favorite PCIe card and supports dual band.
