Wireless/Wired Keyboard and Mouse

I recently finalized my build for a new desktop PC and I was looking for a keyboard and mouse that were wireless, but could also be plugged in via USB to charge and act as a wired mouse. Are there any out there that do this? I've seen the Razer Mamba, but I am looking for something cheaper and more basic.

Originally I was looking at an only wireless solution and landed on the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710. That's more of the price range I'm looking at: less than $100 for both.

the batteries in a wireless keyboard last for months (normally 6 months+) so i would say you shouldnt have to worry much about the battery. as for mice get one that has a recharging cradle and you should be fine.

you can do anything with a wireless mouse that you could with a wired mouse so dont let that stop you.

The only wireless mouse that I know of which can be used as wired mouse when charging is the Logitech G700.

I've personally been using a Logitech Performance MX mouse. I check on prices from time to time so if I see it on sale for $60 or less I would buy another one as backup.
