Hey guys I've recently set up an access point with an old Netcomm Router.

The AP works with an Ethernet connections, however only TWO wifi devices seem to be able to connect to it. One is my laptop and the other is my iphone 7, however Im living with 2 roommates, both their connections do not work. They can't seem to connect.

My Phone works
My Laptop works
And any ethernet connection works.

However I cannot connect any more devices to the access point.

Do any of you guys know what this could be?

Solution
check the ip the connected devices receive. if it's not 192.168. or 10. it's likely using up the public ips your isp assigns you.
you need a router with a nat to get private ips like above on your LAN. if your modem is plugged into the access point then it's very likely what is happening.
