I've spent hours upon hours these past days working on my first time PC build..

I've done everything, now I'm down to wiring. I'm trying to connect my USB 3.0 (the blue one) to my motherboard, I found it. But attached to the 3.0 is this other wire saying USB.. It's not long enough to reach any other wire on my USB

That's my PC..

Pure guess, the other one that says USB is 5 or 10 wires/pins large? Either 1x5 or 2x5? I'm guessing the 1x5 because you have only one USB plug on the case you are using. It attaches to a USB header you have your board, just like your USB 3 headed did. There are two USB headers on the bottom edge of the board where it says USB6_7 and USB8_9.

Here's the thing
I'm lost..
I think I never want to build a PC because of the wiring part..

I think the motherboard wires or case are not meant to be used with each other

The 3.0 USB cable has a small little one connected with it, which says USB (just that). It has 5 on the top, and 4 on the bottom. I plugged the 3.0 in but I can't find a area to plug that other USB in because it can't reach anywhere. I don't know what to do since it can't reach anything..

I haven't used that case before so it's possible it's really short, though I think you are using an mATX board so you should be fine. It might be twist tied up some, you might need to take the front of the case off and make sure it's not.

Site?

I don't mean to be rude but you aren't very good at describing what you are working with. I know I read ten/9 pins, but I still don't know if you mean 1x9 or 2x5. You've said twice now that the USB3 is working so I'm assuming you have the "20 pin" USB3 cable hooked up ok. Take the front of the case off. Go to the non blue USB port, and follow that cable back. It goes down at the bottom where it says USB6_7 or USB8_9. Either or, it makes no difference. It's literally that simple.

I meant to say wire* I'm on my phone sorry.

Im building the PC so I can't trace the wire back.. do I put the USB in the USB6_7 or the 8_9 one? LAST question than I got it all settled.. I'm sorry again

This will probably be my last post in this thread for awhile. If you aren't going to read my replies then I need to take a step back for awhile. You CAN trace the wire back, doing that while building is the point of building. If worse comes to worse and you simply can't do it, then leave it unplugged and tucked away. All that will happen is the front USB 2.0 on your case won't work. Not a huge deal.
