Wiring issues on a Boombox build

I have one 4 ohm speaker at 200(rms)and one 8 ohm speaker at 300(rms)how should I wire it to get the best results on a 2 channel 1200 watt amp in a boombox build???

Wire them in parallel it will reduce the load on amplifier

Wiring them in parallel will present your amp with a 2.66 ohm load. What is the minimum load your amp is rated for?
