Wise Old King

Erm... have you been keeping up with your reading?

Tell me, given that millions of people play neopets everyday and
thousands, including all us lot, do the Wise Old King, you felt the need
to cut and paste this?

We have all seen it, we all do it, we all understand it.

I appreciate you can post what you want - and I sure do (stones and
glass houses perhaps) - but you might just as well being cutting and
pasting the stuff that never changes on the neopets homepage as this.

And here I thought this was posted because it was hysterical! I laughed
when I read it. An F-! That's awesome. And I especially loved that it
'made no sense'... mine never make any sense, I just scroll down and pick
randomly for each section of the saying. Maybe it was just me that got a
kick out of the original post, ah well...

I think your reply is a little unfair. I only say this because I do recall
recently people conjecturing on what would happen if the King gave a bad
score. I hadn't seen it before, so now I know what happens. That's reason
enough for me for the original poster to have "copied and pasted".

So wouldn't in that case just have been more fun to have seen it for
yourself when you achieved this result in the real game?

But anyway, referring to your comment that my view was "unfair", all I
did was ask why the OP cut and pasted what they did when it seemed of no
value.

If what you say was in fact the motivation for the OP, then why didn't
the poster say so? There was no original text in that post at all! It
was simply a cut and paste, and that is what provoked my response and
had there have been some added value in the post I would not have needed
to question the point of it.

If that is an "unfair" view then I am not sure what a fair one is. 🙂

I rephrase. I thought your original post was a little "mean" to the OP.

"Mean"? Oh ffs please don't let's start that again.

What is it with some of you lot that no one can say a bad word or voice
an opinion without being told off? It is not like the opinion was even
discussed especially and it just seems that some of you feel that
criticism or comment in any form is simply unacceptable.

This newsgroup is already quite a bit more fluffy than any other usenet
group I have ever encountered but do you really want to sanitise it
completely?
