I calibrated my monitor after doing everything I noticed in black level test on logam lcd test, the first two squares were crushed ( http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php) I didn't want to mess with all the calibration, so out of curiosity I decreased the contrast from nvidia panel from 50% to 47% and now I can see both missed squares without any problems in the other departments, my monitor is an amva+ panel with static contrast ratio of 3000:1 so does decreasing the contrast by 3% cause any problems in terms of fidelity of color? or am i good to go....thanks so much

Solution
If you've managed to configure it the way you want it leave it like that, I haven't used a Nvidia card in a while but I remember that it's "digital brightness" was a total headache when trying to get the best out of the monitor.

Hi, thanks for your response, I think at this point I have everything, from gamma to correct contrast, black level and white saturation, I also borrowed my father's Colorimeter and all are set correctly.... I just needed assurance, I am too picky about monitors, and have just got rid of an ips panel for its bad contrast :pfff: I am willing to close this post, so I am good to go right?
