So i'm getting a semi-build with customization (yes yes i know its better and cheaper building your own from scratch but its such a high amount of money im putting in to this overkill pc that i would not build it myself)

so anyway i have at this point these two choices:

1:
Case NZXT S340
Intel Core i7- 5930k, 6x 3.50ghz
CPU cooling Astek 570LXL
1000W Aurum power supply
2x (sli) Msi GTX 980 ti 6GD5 v1
G.skill ripjaws- ddr4 2133 mhz 4x4gb
250gb samsung ssd
1 tb seagate barracuda
MSI x99s Sli plus motherboard

2:
Case Nzxt Phantom 410 black + orange
Intel i7-4790k 4 x 4.00ghz
Bloodfreezer 570lx cooling
2x (sli) Msi gtx 980 ti 6gd5 V
Kingston hyperx 2x8 2400 mhz
samsung 250 ssd
1 Tb seagate barracuda
Asus Z97 maximus VII formula motherboard

again i know its overkill

You'll never learn to do it if you dont try. I built my rig with only knowledge I've seen and heard about, had it running that night 100%. and this forum is a great place for troubleshooting. I'd highly suggest if you like PC's to try building one at least once. Do you plan to overclock it?

hmmm well i would love to try it once and i have learned alot about pc's and its hardware since i started looking for a new hardcore pc, i know its cheaper and better to build your own but again its a lot of money to risk trying to build it myself because it would be my first custom building pc

i'm European (danish) so i have a budget around 3715 dollars or 3417 euros

hmm alright

Here is a super overkill build.

If you don't care about 4k ultra i could make this loads cheaper

also building a computer is easier than putting a puzzle together, all of the parts are modular and it is so easy.

well what i really want is a good long therm pc like one who should be able to run most games the next 2-4 years on high or max settings, i looked into 4k gaming at the start and it seemed like it isnt worth it yet.

hmmm i guess its worth a try to build my own then

hmm this looks pretty good, But whats the difference between intel xeon and i7 ?

and is it worth getting windows 10?

xeon is made by intel. The e3 1231 v3 is basically an i7 4790k with a lower clock that is locked. It is a great CPU for the price and better than a 4690k IMO.

you get a free upgrade to windows 10 with windows 7 so dont worry about which one you get.

this gets my vote
