Hey is my GPU bad or what? With Ubersampling turned on (and all other settings on ultra) I can run the Witcher 2 in the 19-45 frame per second range. What is your experience with Ubersampling?

For those curious about my rig....

CPU: Intel Core i7 2600 (not K, don't plan on overclocking)
Mother Board: MSI P67A-G43 (B3)
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6970
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-750TX (750 watts)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD5002AALX (7200RPM 500GB)
Disk Drive: LITE-ON Black 4X Blu-Ray Reader
Case: COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942-KKN1

Solution
those are pretty good numbers. but in what resolution are you playing?

I get like 17-35 FPS with ultra settings @ 1920x1080 and this is my rig

CPU: Intel i5 Sandy Bridge 2500k @ 3.3GHz <--- Not OC'ed
GPU: MSI Twin Frozr II HD6950 2GB @ 800/1250 MHz <--- Not OC'ed nor Modded to 6970
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz <--- OC'ed from 1333Mhz
MOBO: MSI p67-G43 LGA1155
PSU: Corsair TX650 V2 @ 650W
HD: Hitachi 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s <----Worst part imo+

P.d. Posting your case wont give you more fps xD...jk :p..nor the disk drive xD...well psu is needed to know if your getting enough "gasoline" for your hungry rig

Solution
The whole scene is rendered multiple times to give best possible texture and object details and antialiasing (better than antialias and anisotropy even on highest settings).”
= Ubrsampling.
without it on, you wont see a difference except for the FPS drops. You should be able to run it on ultra no prob just disable uber sampling.

Uber Sampling is not easy to run with a crossfire or SLI setup (6990/590), playing with a GTX 580 I can maintain 22fps+, however this isn't really playable with the combat in TW2, so I suggest you just disable ubersampling.

Well sadly my monitor is running at a 1366x 768 resolution, but it does accept 1080p signals. (HDMI doesn't look good for some reason) I tested the FPS in 1080p I believe. (Not 100% on that though)
