Hello guys,
I was wondering if anyone has this same issue over at my end:
My specs pretty much meet all the requirements needed to run many games at Ultra and run at mid 50-60s FPS;
I7 4770k @3.9 Ghz
GTX 980 strix
Asus gene 6 Motherboard
8GB RAM 2100 mhz
When playing any game, like anything, for example Witcher 3, I tend to hover on about the highest potential FPS I can get at around 55 fps.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, the game lowers its FPS to around 33 FPS. I don't know what's causing it.
I heard about the Intel speedstep technology junk and disabled it, I even un-parked my cores as well as did everything on the Nvida control panel on many Games to utilize the maximum performance.
Unfortunately at any part of any game where the FPS is in the highest, something goes wrong within the software realm (I think) that causes the FPS to drop to mid 30's in the middle of the gaming session, even in areas where GPU power is less demanding. I.E 80 FPS normally on that particular area.
Can anyone tell my exhausted brain what the hell is going on?
