soo if i set my foliage to ultra it reduces 10 to 12 fps but on medium it gives me 10 to 12 fps for example i get 70fps with foliage to med and 60 fps at ultra foliage soo much QUESTION is what resource is it using is my gpu generating low fps its in 99% always depsite the settings... or is it because of my cpu bottleneck..

CPU: i3 3210
GPU : GTX 1060 3gb
RAM: 8gb DDR3

basically i wanna that is my gpu not enough powerful for ultra foliage or its reducing fps because of my cpu...

hope its not a twisty question i really cant put this question in proper words hope you understand 😀

Solution
Without being a CD Red programmer its hard to say for sure, but its most likely GPU only on low with a little CPU for the swaying of grass and physics built in for ultra settings.
This talks about graphics in Witcher 3.

Your GPU is always going to use 99% of the GPU unless it becomes CPU bound. That is what video cards do. So ultra settings are just putting more triangles on screen and dropping your fps. Also stuff like Hairworks is CPU only for Witcher 3 despite being a NVIDIA product. You crank things to ultra and than your CPU is doing more than what a i3 can handle. That game is very CPU bound on ultra settings.
