WItcher 3 performance PLease HELP

Guys can you help with this I have windows 10 installed before and i am playing witcher 3 just fine and with 50% to 70% load on my cpu and then i decided to downgrade to windows 7 because i am more comfortable on using windows 7 but when i play witcher 3 i have problem with my gameplay having stutter on crowded places which is not happening on windows 10 CPU load become 90% to 100%

is there any fix without having me reinstalled windows 10 again?


i3 2120 3.30ghz
8gb ram
Palit GTX 750TI 2gb

Might be a background process causing stuttering in Win7. If you look in Task Manager while the game is running, do you see any processes besides the game using a lot of CPU or RAM? A utility like Razer Cortex can be useful for shutting down background processes, but it does require that you sign up for a Razer account.

yeah i tried to end process everything that im not using on task manager but witcher 3 alone is using the 100% of my CPU this is odd because this is not happening on my windows 10 before

Are you sure its a Win 7 issue? Crowded places start in Novigrad region. You might not have reached that place yet while u were on Win 10.

Yeah i reached novigrad when im still have my win10 installed . it is weird because i gain more FPS when im in city like novigrad and oxenford

Then you probably didn't update your drivers properly when you switched back to Win 7 or changed some settings in game. Turn GOG overlay off if that is on
