I was doing a wizard mode game, levelported to level 4 (where the
entrance to mines was), and arrived here:

Why does this only happen to me in wizard mode... :-(

There was also a chest, which contained the gem. I already had a

is too difficult for me, anyway).

Why the tin whistles have different prices? I thought
that identical items always have identical prices.

The shoping spoiler says that there is a random price adjustment on
individual items.

Damn, first time I've seen a saddle not on included as original
equipment with a Knight. Think we could convince the Dev Team to
randomly generate a saddle when a leather golem is killed? Or even
always include one saddle in the castle? I can't imagine a castle
without a tack room: saddle, blanket, riding boots, riding gloves,
slicker (oilskin cloak?), horse feed (rnd(12) eucaluuptus leaves,
carrots, or etc?)

Played a Tourist yesterday (yes, died, too, of course.), and found a
saddle in the fourth room of dlvl 1... Might be the second time for me
ever.

I've seen them out and about a few times.

Just wanted to say that those are damned good ideas- especially the
leather golem one.

Yes, that would explain TWO different prices, but not three.
IIRC, some items may have two different prices according to the buc
status, but I don't remember whether tin whistles are among them. (No
scrolls or rings do, and the only potion with this feature is water.)

I was playing in wizard mode, so I might have wished up and quaffed some
potions of gain level or gain ability between picking up the whistles. I
don't think I did, though.
