wlan blue light is on but no connection to network or internet says to contact network administrator but cannot find the way. can you help please?

To help with an answer to your question, a little more information is needed. Do you own both the laptop and the computer that is sharing the network? If you do, it is an easy fix. If not, the person that has control over the network has to add you to the network. The wireless router will not allow you to access the internet unless you are part of the network. This is for security reasons.
