WLM won't send email to South Africa.

I have a friend in South Africa whom I email just about daily. This problem started about a month ago. Until then, I could send him emails with no problem. Currently, I can send emails to everyone else, and I can receive emails from everyone, including my friend in South Africa, but when I try to send him one in WLM he never receives it. I get no error messages after sending. If I use my Internet Provider's email system (which is horrible), I can send him an email with no problem.

Any thoughts on a solution?

has your friend checked his junk mail folder?
is you email address on you friend's white-list?

is anyone else emailing him from a WLM account and does he receive those emails?
