I have just installed WMP 10. When it opens, the virtual TV screen is a
blank wallpaper in blue. This blanket of blue, however, does not cover the
entire screen display area, leaving a 1 mm border in the Rt. and bottom
margins along the frame, thus exposing part of the display underneath, e.g.
the rolling meadow scene of the desktop, the "Bliss". Is this a known
glitch of the new WMP? How may that be rectified?
I have all the critical/security updates in my WinXP + SP2. My normal
working resolution is 800X600 and the font size selected (in Display
Properties) is "large", but reverting the latter to "normal" makes no
difference to the anomaly.
