WMV password recovery

Hello,
I have this ".wmv" file, that is password protected, is there any chance i could open it on linux or in windows 7?
I have tried a lot of password cracks

Clearly there's a reason that it is password protected. Please don't ask on these forums about gaining unauthorized access to computers or data.

bty it is most likely a fake *.wmv file.
