wndows10 uploading photos sd card

Unable to upload photos from SD Cards since downloading Windows 10.
when SD Card is inserted a pop up screen appears saying connect the device that you want to import from. It has 2 boxes to click on underneath which say try again or close.. I press try again but just repeatedly comes up. This happens on all my SD Cards. Where as on Windows8 I just used to insert usb card into slot and the message would say select photos you want to import and had all of my photos on the screen I would tick them and the click on import.

Are you able to manually browse through the files from File Explorer? If so, try using a different program to import your photos. If you cannot browse through your files manually, download and install the latest Windows 10-compatible drivers for your SD card reader.
