[SOLVED] Woke up and suddenly my monitor wasnt powering on anymore, I disconnected it for 2 hours and it worked, what can I do to prevent that from happening?

What was the cause and what can I do to prevent that from happening in the future?

It was basically out of the blue nothing changed, it suddenly stopped working, and when I put the power cable in, the led light flashed for a split second and it was dead.
I disconnected it with no hope and it suddenly worked again normally after 2 hours.
the monitor is BenQ RL2240HE

something inside could have warmed up and tripped a circuit inside
could be swollen caps, by leaving it unplugged for a while they may have returned to normal.

Being that the monitor is 7.5 years old released September 2014 parts ware out.
