Won\'t open files without changing access for every file. How do i change securi

I have a hard drive from my old computer that I am trying to copy files from, to my new computer which has a dock. Some files are security protected and are asking for a change in access, is there a way to change access for the whole hard drive and not every single file.

try taking ownership of the root folder. (the main folder right under the drive letter)
