Won`t start

Hello, i have a compaq presario s6000cl that won`t start at all. has a flashing green light on back.

Insert the OS disk and try the repair system.

Does it boot to the BIOS? If not, you can't do a repair.

The flashing green light usually signifies standby power for the PSU. It doesn't mean there is enough power for your system to POST. You can check the manual to verify.

My guess is that the PSU needs replaced.
