Wondering how to remove heatsink from cpu.

I was going to attempt to install a Corsair H105 cpu cooler, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to remove the heatsink. I'm new to this so I figured I would ask around before I destroy something lol! Here's the pictures:

Can you see the 4 screws?
Unscrew them opposite sides (is what I normally do) then once they are remove you have to twist the heatsink slightly clockwise, and lift and pull.
Don't force it, it should be quite free, but you get a bit of vacuum/suction which is why when you twist it , it should come off easier.

You don't need to remove the base plate on the backside of the motherboard.

You may need to unhook fan from cpu cooler before you can access all the screws.
