Im on a $800 dollar budget. I have everything ready to go, but i'm wondering if I should return the 1050 for a 1050ti.

My pc specs

i5 7400
1tb hd
8g ram
gtx 1050
I will be playing cs go, rainbow six seige, and planet coaster. Please let me know if upgrading to the 1050ti from the 1050 is worth it when money is tight. Thanks xD.

a 1050 ti with an i5 7400 can easily run both of those games very well

I am using Ironside. I can still change my order. I'm just not sure if it's worth it. Would you think it would make a BIG difference.

I think the 1050 Ti is worth it. Not just for the extra memory, although that's a big plus, but you'll want the extra performance for newer games. I'd rather use a dual core with hyperthreading and a 1050 Ti than a quad core with a 1050 for 1080p gaming in newer games.

If you don't mind playing at low settings, or at lower framerates, or possibly at 900p, then I think the 1050 is workable. It's also true that newer games can be very CPU dependent but the thing about being on a budget is you can't have everything. You will have to compromise somewhere. That being the case, I'd sacrifice a bit of CPU power for more graphic power for gaming.
