Wondering if games made for windows vista, xp, 7, 8 will work on windows 10

Hello! I recently joined the PC community from MAC. I want to download some games like modern warfare 2 and black ops to my pc but the platform shows windows vista, xp and does not show windows 10. Will these games still work on windows 10?? Help, I dont want to spend money and then realize they wont work. thank u!

Yes those games will. At worst you'll need to run them in compatibility mode, but I doubt even that'll be necessary.

Yes it will. I found the answer by using google. It is a very helpful tool and you should be come familiar with it. Go to this website: www.google.com and then just type in your question. Anyways, yes it will work on windows 10.

Most games for Vista, 7, and 8 will work fine. XP on the other hand some games may give you a hard time installing. That said if you're getting them from Steam or GoG or any of the other services, those bugs have been worked out for you already.

Indeed.
Through Steam, Quake I from 1996 (Win 95 era) runs just fine on Win 10.
