Question Wondering if i have a failed GPU.

I'm 90% sure I have a broken GPU, but I do have my suspicions. I was playing a game when random blotches of green randomly appeared on my screen, and froze. I restarted the computer and it was on CPU graphics. It appeared similar to this image I rigged up in Paint.net.

Do I have a failed GPU or should I reseat it?

full system spec? include brand and model of the psu?

...I just wanted to know if it was broken, a new one is coming in the mail this week anyway.

Artifacts normally means broken GPU further to that if it disappears sort of confirms that.
