Wondering what cpu I can get for this mobo. H270 plus Asus

Just got a h270 plus mobo. Wondering if I can get the 8th gen stuff or should I stick with 7th. I can't update bios either. I don't have any other cpu.

The Asus PRIME H270-PLUS motherboard does not support any 8th generation CPU's, only 7th gen. For 8th generation CPU's you need a Z370/H370/B360 motherboard.

You can only run 6th & 7th gen, not 8th.
