Wont connect to internet in Win7, plz help

I know this should really go in the networking board, but that seems kind of dead and I need help asap. Ok, I just built a new computer for my sister using Windows 7. Setup went fine and all but when I try to connect to the internet it wont let me. Shes using a wired connection connected directly to the router. Win7 recognizes it and it has the little "Local Area Connection" icon there, but it wont connect to the internet. I hate these stupid problems, please assist.

When I go to details in Local Area Connection, it lists and IP address but in the main window next to IPv4 and IPv6 it says "No Internet Access". Any suggestion is welcome.
