wont letme do ip config

OK guys when i go to start/run/command/ipconfig:it says it it aint reconized!:ithink its because its searching in the computer/documents could u plz help me

Heya trent,

how are entering the ipconfig command?... If you put in ipconfig: you will get the command not recognised prompt.

Click on Start > Run and copy the coloured text below into the run box, this will open a notepad document with all of your network adapter configurations:

cmd /c ipconfig /all >Desktop\Ipconfig.txt

cmd /c ipconfig /all >Desktop\Ipconfig.txt

you need to goto the start menu, click it. Then click RUN.

When the RUN dialog box comes up type CMD and hit enter, or click ok.

When the command prompt opens then you type in ipconfig

typing the string start/run/command/ipconfig will get you an error each time.

ok thanks guys but its not helping unfortantly🙁! i did what the first person told me to do thanks! but it falshes a screen!!!!!!Thanks for your effort guys and i didnt do start/command/ipconfig.i was just show ing u how i did to make it not look like i was going in the wrong place cmb!
