Question wont post after changing xmp

Hey guys

my son has a
Rizen 2700
asus rog strix mobo with 16gig ram

he never enabled his xmp to run at 3200 on his ram....... when he changes it it crashes and wont post
any ideas as to what the issue might be

In order to give some meaningful advice we need mor info

What exact model of mobo AND Bios version ?
1, 2, or 4 RAM sticks ?
Exact reference of RAM and if more than 1 stick, did they come from a kit (a single package) or are they singles assembled together ?

Enable DOCP / XMP then manually change the speed to 2933.
