Won't show CPU temp. in brand new AMD build

Just finished building my first PC last night, everything working fine, fresh installed Windows 8.1 and attempted to monitor my CPU temps with Coretemp, HWMonitor, and Speccy. Problem is that HWMonitor and Coretemp won't show my temperatures at all (either won't show or giving me 0C(?)) and Speccy is giving me up & down readings.

I've tried disabling 'Core Unlocker' in BIOS and the only options it gives me are "Auto" and "Use 2 cores" or something along those lines (both options yield the same results).

In BIOS, I can see my temperatures and I'm idling at about 47C, and after an hour of running my computer my CPU/fan copper/fins/motherboard are cold to the touch.

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H Micro ATX FM2+
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
 
Solution
The later AMD processors (and APUs) have had trouble with 3rd party software and temp readouts. AMD doesn't use the same sensing apparatus they used in the older Phenom IIs and Athlon IIs (K10). They use a type of algorithm. Try running AMD Overdrive and watch core THERMAL MARGINS instead. TM will be the distance left until max temp (TjMax) is reached. As temps increase, TM will decrease. Btw, on my APU and Athlon builds, I found that HWMonitor read an accurate CPU Temp. You might try that too. AMD only uses a single temp detection for all cores, so they only have one readout. You'll notice in AOD that all cores read the same.
