Hello. I just bought a gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 and I only have a 4 pin 12v atx connector when it requires 8 pin, my USB keyboard wont light up and onboard graphics dont work..

Solution
Can you explain in more detail exactly what you did and whats happening now? Did you just swap out an new mobo for an old one? Any other changes? What do you mean by wont start? Does anything power up?

Just clarifying, does you PSU only have a single 4pin connector? Can you tell me the make/model of your PSU? Can you get to the bios screen?

The specs for that PSU claim to have a 12V 4/8 pin connector. Did it come with any extra cables or adapters that you might have put away somewhere when you purchased it? Beyond that there are only a couple of things that I can think of that would cause this kind of issue. One being that the mobo is bad, which can happen, and the other being that your PSU can't support the current build (it may have gone bad or you are exceeding its capacity).
