Won't turn on.

Recently built my first PC with the help of a friend. When everything was finished, I pressed the power button and it turned on, but I didn't know what to do from there so I turned it off and waited for some help from another friend. The next time I tried to turn it on it didn't; I don't know what I did wrong or if it's a problem with the computer. Maybe someone here can help me.

Check the basics first. Check all your connections; make sure that the psu is flipped on; make sure that your ram is installed correctly etc.
