Word keeps crashing after you click print

My mom is director of the library and she has some printer in second smaller library in village that stopped working properly.
When you try to print something by going to file-print, cursor just keeps spinning and when you click it says program has stopped working balblabla. It happens every time and for some reason printer just turned off. I can't provide more info because my mom is "computer expert".
Printer worked fine month or two ago.
