Word running very slow

Hello,
Dell PC with Windows 7 Office Pro 2003 all working well except Word it is slow to load and to close, or to open documents

what you probably want to do is delete office, turn off the antivirus, reload office, and restart, then turn the anti virus back on.

You may want to run your anti virus program also, just to make sure that there's nothing affecting your computer.
