Workforce 2520 Problem

Hello everyone I hope I am in the right section. I bought epson WF 2520 few months ago and everything was fine until today when it started showing that he doesn't recognise BK as in black color. Anyway to make long story short after troubleshooting it ( i am a designer and a coder and no i placed the cartridges with care in it) i found out one of the contact pins is bend or melt. What is weird its the one in the middle which is far back.

I said ok ill take out my cartridges and pack it up and lets fix it. While i was removing yellow color the same pin but in the yellow section broke off and was like glued to the cartridge after which i lost it somewhere on the floor have to look for it tommorow since i didn't see if it was complete or there is a piece that went for a stroll in the printhead.

Now my question is taking in consideration since i installed them i didnt take anything out how could this happen what could have caused it and how much those pins and replacement cost i mean the printer is not expensive but its new...

New printer should be covered under warranty, contact Epson for support. Does not sound like it's anything you did so it should be covered. Don't mess around with trying to repair it yourself.
