Working fine, now no POST - PSU?

Hey folks,

Hoping some of you smart folks can help here. I'm assuming this is the PSU but I have no spare parts to test with at the moment.

Home build previously working fine. Today, the computer randomly shuts down, restarts, but does not POST, no beeps. I've tried the usual disconnecting everything but CPU and mobo, but still no joy.

What I have noted is that when turning the computer on, the system fans and the graphics card fans do NOT come on. When turning the computer off, the system fans very briefly light up and come on before powering down again. I've tried several connectors on the board and none of them work.

I'm assuming this seems like a PSU problem as not everything powers up. It's also the only central component I recycled from my last pc so has a few years on it. I don't have a voltmeter to check voltages - I assume purchasing one tomorrow is going to be the best way of checking?

System specs:
MSI Z87-G45 gaming
Core i5 4670k
OCZ Fatal1ty 550w PSU
8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
Gainward Radeon R9 270x

Thanks for your help.
