Ive been using an LG Flatron w2252q for my gaming computer for 6+ years with no problems and no longer need it so I wanted to give it to my dad to replace their 19in Dell 4:3 pos. It was working fine for a day or 2 now it just turns off completely like no powers going to it. No stand by, searching for display or anything all lights out like its not even plugged in. I have it hooked up to my computer again and its working just fine.

Ive tried both the DVI and VGA connections, double checked onboard is disabled. I tried taking the HD5450 out and using onboard and still nothing. It doesnt even display post screens its just dead when connected to their pc. Event viewer doesnt show anything happening during the time it was connected I cant think of anything left to try, any suggestions?

Yeah it has the no source message but not when plugged in the computer and its got the computer on the same outlet and I even switched outlets thinking it was overloaded. The dell monitor works perfectly fine along with the other things.

Well does another monitor work? what are the specs of the PC?

I dont have a 3rd monitor to test but the 19in 4:3 dell screen works just fine but he needs an upgrade. Its specs are i3 530 @3ghz, 6gb ram, 1tb hdd which im sure is a 5400 rpm. I put a AMD HD5450 in it along with a Thermaltake 430 watt psu

Ive tried both vga and dvi on the gpu while the onboard is disabled in bios and even removed the gpu and tried using onboard. It doesnt even go into stand by all lights and screen are just out, but turns right on when connected to my gaming pc.

Edit: the Dell I have in the gpu if thats what you ment and works fine with both vga and dvi with that screen
